We drive progress

Digitalisation of Business Accounting

Tailored digitalisation for your accounting and tax management: we implement technological solutions that are tailored to your needs, saving you time, costs and hassle, while complying with regulations that are already mandatory in Spain.

Why it’s no longer optional: the 2026–2027 legal framework

Accounting digitalisation has stopped being an operational improvement and has become a legal obligation. Three regulations are driving it at the same time:

  • Anti-Fraud Law (11/2021): requires the use of certified accounting software that prevents double bookkeeping or the manipulation of records without leaving a trace.
  • Crea y Crece Law: requires companies and self-employed professionals to issue and receive electronic invoices, with digital retention for 4 years.
  • Verifactu: the Tax Agency’s invoice verification system, with a phased rollout between 2026 and 2027, which connects your invoicing software directly with the Tax Agency.

What does this mean for your business?

That if you’re still keeping your accounts in spreadsheets, paper invoices or non-certified software, you’re exposed to penalties — and you’ll be late when the obligation comes into force for your type of business. At GR International Advisors, we help you adapt with time to spare, not at the last minute.

Our services

Digital certificate

We obtain your digital certificate quickly, with no travel required, 100% online and in full compliance with LOPD regulations and the highest cybersecurity measures. Once issued, we store it in a secure Cloud environment and manage the receipt of your electronic notifications for you.

OCR: automatic invoice recognition software

We work 100% digitally: we don’t handle paper. Our AI software automatically identifies and classifies every field on your invoices, reducing the margin for human error and making it faster and easier for you to submit documentation.

Automated bank reconciliation

Linked to the invoice OCR system, we have a bank reconciliation programme that we use to carry out automated processes, enabling the efficient integration and verification of financial transactions, thereby ensuring greater accuracy and control in our accounting management.

Document manager

Integrated with invoice OCR, our bank reconciliation system verifies your financial transactions automatically, giving you greater accuracy and control without checking statement by statement.

Real-time Power BI reports

You can access up-to-date financial data at any time, analyse trends and make strategic decisions with real information, not last month’s closing figures.

How we implement it: a 5-step process

  1. Initial audit. We analyse how you currently manage your invoices, accounting books and tax processes, and identify what can be automated without friction.
  2. Software selection and setup. We select the right certified tools for your volume and sector, without selling you more technology than you need.
  3. Data migration. We transfer your accounting information securely, with a backup copy, without you losing your history.
  4. Integration into your day-to-day operations. We connect OCR, bank reconciliation and the document manager so you can stop entering data manually.
  5. Follow-up and training. We support you in using the system and adjust whatever is needed during the first few months — digitalisation only works if your team truly adopts it.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is it mandatory to digitalise my company’s accounting? Yes, progressively. The Anti-Fraud Law already requires certified software, the Crea y Crece Law mandates electronic invoicing, and Verifactu is being rolled out between 2026 and 2027 depending on the type of company. In the initial audit, we tell you exactly which deadlines apply to you.

What happens if I don’t adapt in time? You risk penalties from the Tax Agency and losing the ability to issue or receive properly recognised invoices once the system is active for your case.

How long does implementation take? It depends on your invoicing volume and starting point, but for most SMEs the full process — from the audit to 100% digital operations — is completed in just a few weeks.

Is it compatible with the software I already use? In most cases, yes. We assess your current system in the initial audit and tell you whether we can integrate it or whether it’s better to migrate.

Do I need to buy additional licences? Not necessarily. We work with the tools we already have integrated into our service; we only recommend additional software when you truly need it.
